On Thursday night, Nick took off. Crawling that is. He was a little slow to catch on, we've been working with him for a while. But all of a sudden Thursday after dinner, he just got it. The light turned on. And he's been everywhere ever since. He crawls over to the furniture and pulls himself up to a standing position and takes baby steps around. I think now that he knows how to move, it won't be too long until he's walking.
He can even climb up one step. For those of you who haven't been to our house, our living room is sunken one-step from the dinning room. This is a perfect place for Nick to practice steps - and he mastered climbing up on his first try. He hasn't quite learned how to come back down yet...we'll have to work on that some more.
I'll try to post some new pictures this week, I promise.

Ten Months Old
Our little Nick is now ten months old. Wow, it's hard to believe. I've uploaded some picts from the past month, you can see how big he is getting.
This is the little guy on March 20, his 10 month birthday. His eyes are still blue - we think they are going to stay that way.
He would rather be standing now than anything else. He is getting better at pulling himself on things - tables, his crib. And he is just starting to take baby steps along the furniture.
Weekend at the Cabin - Nick loves the fire.
Same weekend at the at the Cabin - Tim wanted to take advantage of the last snowfall of the year (March 1). He went snowmobiling with some friends from home and Siren. This was when they all gathered at our place before heading out for their 100 mile day. Nick and mom drove and joined them for lunch in Danbury.
Nick in the second-to-last swimming lesson class - he was digging the life jacket. He passed the class - we have his first "report card" hanging proudly on the fridge!
Just playing in our family room - which resembles a day care more and more every day.
Happy, happy boy. In this light you can see a little reddish tint to his hair. It looks different in different light - we're not sure what the end result will be.
